Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan Department allows you to take full advantage of all that the library has to offer. As long as you are a current library card holder, you can request material that is not available within Lackawanna County. Most requests are filled within 2-3 weeks depending on the availability of the material and the accuracy of the request. (No more than 6 requests per person at one time and material must be at least a year old for it to be considered an interlibrary loan request).

The Interlibrary Loan Department also has two vans to provide delivery service that not only services all of Lackawanna County public libraries twice daily, but it also services our District Counties that include Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming Counties.
